Our Surrey Mobile Assault Response Team (S.M.A.R.T.) is a 24-hour crisis response team that provides services in partnership with Surrey Memorial Hospital over the phone and in-person service for women and girls who have experienced physical or sexual violence.
If you have experienced a physical or sexual assault by a stranger or someone you know the assault is not your fault! Help is available for you. Your first priority is to find a safe place. Your safety is our first and only concern. Once you are in a safe place our team is available to help you over the phone and in-person to access:
- a transition house or safe shelter;
- the hospital for medical treatment; or
- the police to report a crime
We are available 24-hours a day to help you explore your legal and medical options. Please call 604-583-1295. You do not have to report an assault to police or access medical treatment to receive our services.
